2011 PNRMS Meeting

Meeting Schedule:

April 29: Evening Arrival: South Residence Tower, University of Regina Campus. A registration table will be set up inside the door from 7:30 to 10:00 PM, where participants can pick up their conference packages and keys. Participants should drive or be dropped off at the South Residence Tower. Parking will be available in unmarked areas of Lot 4 (recommended), and also in Lots 3 or 14. (See the U of R Campus Map .) Those arriving after 10:00 PM should go to the kiosk just inside the main door of the South Residence Tower, where they can give their name to the attendant to pick up their key. Let the attendant know that you are a Prairie Math Meeting participant.

April 30: Student workshop
8:30 to 9:30 AM: Breakfast - Luther College Cafeteria. (It's along the main hallway on Luther College's Main Floor.) Show your nametag when you go through the cafeteria checkout. There will be a registration table outside the Cafeteria this morning for those who don't have their nametags yet.
9:30 AM to 11:45 AM: 1st Workshop Session in LC 215.
11:45 AM to 1:30 PM: Brunch - Luther College Cafeteria.
1:30 PM to 5:00 PM: 2nd Workshop Session in LC 215.
5:00 PM to whenever: Participants are released for dinner and social activities

May 1: Board Meeting and Scientific Sessions
8:30 to 9:30 AM: Breakfast - Luther College Cafetaria.
10:00 AM to 11:45 AM: PNRMS Board Meeting in LC 211.
11:45 AM to 1:00 PM: Brunch - Luther College Cafeteria. Nametag again required. Registration table again available.
1:00 to 5:30 PM: Scientific Meeting Sessions in LC 215 and LC 211.
5:30 to 6:30 PM: Pre-banquet break and walk along Wascana Creek to Lakeshore Restaurant.
6:30 to 8:30 PM: Conference Banquet at Wascana Restaurant

May 2:
7:00 to 9:00 AM: Breakfast - Luther College Cafeteria. Nametags again required.
9:00 AM : Checkout, and Departure. Go home and Vote!

There is no registration fee for the conference. To register and/or reserve accommodation for the conference please call Ms. Pamela Sparvier at (306) 585-4148 or send an email with subject "Prairie Network Conference" to Pamela Sparvier by April 20 with your:

• Name
• Institution
• Whether or not you would like to stay on campus
• Whether you are an undergraduate student, graduate student, PDF, or Faculty participant
• Whether or not you would like to attend the Banquet (cost $25 to Faculty participants, free for students).
• The title of your talk if you plan to give one. The contributed talks will be 25-30 minutes.
• If there are dietary or accommodation concerns, please include that information.

Contributed Talks:

Contributed talks will be 30 minutes in length. All plenary lectures and contributed talks will take place in LC 215 and LC 211.
